Monarda Fistulosa, Humdinger

Monarda create a colorful stir when they burst into bloom in late summer. ‘Humdinger’s compact branching plants produce a flurry of showy violet-pink flowers that go on blooming for a long time. A striking presence in the border or cottage garden, gorgeous 30-34” bee balm radiates prismatic color and sweet fragrance, which explains the everpresent crowd of flying pollinators. Clean, tidy, easy-growing plants show moderate tolerance to mildew. Supervigorous plants thrive in full sun, partial shade and evenly moist soil.
